Great resource and very good explanation step by step which was what I was looking for; the problem I'm having is all his files are set up specifically for one project and I'm having difficulty setting it up for me.
I have everything finished but when I open my project .dwg file and SSM then new SSM file from template and customize the options everything looks fine however when I go to open a new sheet; yes it does open the template .dwt file however it completely open the whole .dwg file of the template so my viewport is the template viewport not my project .dwg file......
How do I get SSM to open new layout/paper spaces with the title block template but the viewport of my current project .dwg file.

AutoCAD LT :: Plotting 22x34 To 11x17?

I have set up a layout tab to print to 22x34. I would like to be able to print it at half scale on an 11x17. So when I print it I set the scale to 1:2. However, even though it prints fine on a 22x34, two edges of my border are cut off when I print to an 11x17. I'm not sure whats causing it, I have tried printing using layout, window, display, and extents but it hasn't worked.

I have a copy machine that staples automatically but i dont want it to staple all the time. I made two page setups 1 called toshiba 11x17 and one called 11x17 stapled. However every time i go into the properties for them whatever i do to one effects the other. I just want one to be stapled one to not be stapled and everything else to be identical.

we have just upgraded from Inv 2011 to 2013. I am trying to create the drawing templates in 2013 by using the blank 2013 template and then copying our border from 2011 onto it. This works a treat apart from 1 thing.
The i properties do not get copied over as well so the sheet is blank from drawing number, title and the custom properties etc.

I have a bit of a problem, i'm new to corel draw and i'm trying to create a flyer in 11x17 but when i go into print preview it shows half of my work only. can you adjust the print area on the print preview?
i need these flyer to be printed out in 11x17. would i need to create the document in a regular 8.5x11 and if so how would i increase the size to print out to 11x17?

I have two documents, both with 300 DPI. The first is a 4x5 image and the second is an 11x17 page. I am trying to drag the entire 4x5 image (it's composed of several layers) onto the 11x17 page and keep it the same size. However, when I drag and drop, the 4x5 image is enlarged to fill the full width of the 11x17 page. This happens even if I hit shift. I recently upgraded from PSE10 where I did this regularly and can't figure out how to do it in PSE12. I have an iMac with OS 10.8.5.

Photoshop :: 13.0.2 Update / Eye Dropper Samples From Wrong Pixel

I just updated CS6 to 13.0.2 and noticed an issue with the eye dropper. With the eye dropper tool selected, hovering over the document puts the wrong values into the RGB section of the Info panel. It does pick the correct colors when you click the mouse, though.
By 'the wrong values', I mean that the eye dropper seems to sample half a pixel to the left of the pixel you're hovering over. I'm not using a Retina display, but it wouldn't surprise me if this is a result of the changes for Retina. In any case, it's not correct.

3ds Max :: Lowering Samples Per Pixel And High Output Size

I do a lot of animations so I create FG maps and freeze them. I normally render at 1280 x 720 and create my FG maps at 480 x 270 and samples per pixel at min 4 max 64.
Does samples per pixel effect FG maps. I read somewhere it doesn't and that you can quite happily render FG maps at min 1/64 max 1/64. Which would increase the speed of the crateing FG maps.
Would I be better lowering my samples per pixel and highering my output size?
I'm usually in a constant battle with flickering especially with folaige

AutoCAD 2013 :: 2014 Sheet Set Will Not Open Older Sheet Sets?

I am having a problem opening older sheet sets from AutoCAD 2014.
I can select the .dst file, but when it 'opens' I onlly have the icon in the seet set manager and nothing else, it is entirely blank.
I made a new sheet set, but now older versions of AutoCAD cannot read that one.

This file was originally created in IV2009 I've had no problems then or with the various conversions of it.
It seems to be memory related so here's the sitrep as for memory 8GB DDR2 RAM, and Virtual Memory set at min of 8192MB and a Max of 16384MB, I did have it set a systems managed but that gave a warning of low virtual memory with almost every drawing file that I opened.

I managed to use a field for the total count (YY) however I need to link the XX to the another drawing. I have researched and failed miserably.

I have entered the custom properties, then when I go to the title block and try to insert the fields with current sheet set custom the drop down box is empty and then when I try to type in the custom property name the link still does not function. I am using Inventor 2010 (I know this is my first problem, but you have to use what you're given!) and I need to use the sheet number in a calculation that will display the result in a text box. =((<SHEET NUMBER>-1)8)=1 displays a result of ((11-1)8)+1. I suspect that the sheet number is being brought in as text instead of a number. I tried adding atoi to the equation to convert the sheet number to an integer, but it did not work.Is there an alternate source for the sheet number that will return a number? Is my syntax wrong?

I'm fairly new to Autocad and getting used to using sheet set manager. What I'm experiencing is, when you insert a model view it brings in an xref of that model, but i'm then unsure how to add additional xref models into the same view.
For example I have a separate ground floor plan file and OS data file which I want to show in the one sheet view without nesting the OS data to the original ground floor file.
